Dr. Fraire |
Dolores Fraire, OD
Dr Fraire graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. As a Health Professions Scholar, she proudly served in the US Army for over 8 years. Her duties included a tour as chief of the Optometry Clinic at the Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Powers of Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium. There she had the distinct honor of serving the optometric needs of the soldiers of the countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). She also served as the chief of the Optometry Clinic in Taegu, Korea, and its two satellite clinics which supported the Army soldiers serving south of Seoul. She also acted as adjunct professor to University of Houston School of Optometry externs and directed the Contact Lens Program at William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss, Texas. |
Dr. Fraire transitioned from the Army to the Shelton community in 1999 where she continues her career in optometric service. She is a member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington and the American Optometric Association, and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Her service has also included Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and Eye Care for the Homeless. Her husband's and her interests include travel, reading, volunteering, movies.

Upon your arrival Kayla will be waiting for you in the pre-testing room. This is where she gets you prepared to see the doctor. Kayla has been trained on all the latest and greatest optometric instruments to scan and photograph your eyes. This allows the doctor to fully view and explain any health concerns related to your vision. |
Donna |
Patient Care Coordinator
When calling the practice, Donna is most likely the person who will answer your call. She will welcome you to the clinic, assist you with your check-in process, then connect you with the appropriate professional in the office. Donna coordinates appointments while managing reminders and other patient communications. Donna makes patient care a top priority, and makes sure our patients are taken care in a well and timely manner. |
